We’re extremely proud of our members. Over the years their work out agendas and sporting endeavors serve as healthy examples of how it feels to be “Elite,” and how exercise not only adds years to your life, but life to your years! Today we’d like to highlight another member’s experience:
We have been members of Highlander, Mequon, and now North Shore (we’ve moved all over Milwaukee) since 2005. I do tons of classes at North Shore, with Sarah Addeo’s kick class being my favorite. When we had our son Chip in April 2011, we quickly learned that the kid care offered at Elite is just amazing.
Obviously as new parents we were nervous having our child in the care of someone else. Our minds were set to ease quickly with how amazing all the kid care staff are. Now fast-forward 3 years later my son literally runs into the kid care rooms and only cries when it’s time to leave! He has made some great little buddies from kid care and many of them have been invited to his last few birthday parties and had play dates outside of Elite.
The kid care has honestly helped keep my sanity – I use it when I’m working out, but also bring my laptop and do some paperwork catching up while he’s in kid care. One of the many examples of how great they are is for Mother’s Day they made all the mom’s flower bouquets out of their child’s hand prints. No other kid care through a gym would do something like that. It really is a fantastic place for children and families.
