Elite Gives Back: Hurricane Relief Day 2017

Earlier this year, three hurricanes devastated mainland USA and its territory Puerto Rico causing over $300 billion in damages.  Even months after the disaster, residents are still feeling the losses and are working hard to restore the lives they once had. In light of the tragic aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, Elite Sports Clubs is doing its part in helping the victims in Southeastern Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico through the Elite Gives Back Program, hosting Hurricane Relief Day on December 2, 2017. Ridin’ for Research Wrap Up & Special Thanks

Elite often gets to contribute to good causes in some shape or form; whether that’s through donating auction prize items, sponsoring an event, volunteering our expert staff, or any other way we can offer up our services & facilities. We like to call these efforts “Elite Gives Back.” Being locally-owned clubs, we feel it is our responsibility to give back to the communities & members we serve.

Recently we received the following message from one of the coordinators of a local fundraising event, Ridin’ for Research and it makes us extremely proud of our staff and members who participated in the event. Continue reading Ridin’ for Research Wrap Up & Special Thanks

Elite in the Community: Music Festival & 5K Trail Run

Last weekend Elite Sports Clubs once again had the opportunity to sponsor and participate in the Gathering on the Green music & performing arts festival and Run on the Green 5k Trail Run/Walk & Youth Fun Run in Mequon.

On Friday night we hosted a booth before the ABBA tribute show and demoed some of the exercises we can now offer using the new outdoor boot camp facility at Elite Sports Club-Mequon.

On Saturday morning we helped put on another successful year of Run on the Green, featuring a new double loop route through Rotary Park. Runners experienced paved, grass, and gravel trails; along with musical performing acts from K-Nation along the way. Not to mention the Jimmy Luv’s bloody marys post-race!

To wrap things up on Saturday evening before the final orchestra show featuring the great grandchildren of the Von Trapps, plus musical fireworks; we set up a QuickStart 10 & Under Tennis court in the children’s area for kids to play and learn about tennis.

All in all, it was another successful year. The weather was great, we met a lot of fun people, and got to show of all the cool stuff happening at Elite. We are really enjoying getting out into our communities this summer!
